NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 10 – The search for four hikers who went missing in the Aberdare Forest within Kipipiri is set to resume Monday morning.

The four were in a group 60 from Nairobi and include two women and a man who were last seen heading to the mountain while accompanied by a local guide.

According to police, land and air search for the four did not yield anything during the weekend.

The four hikers went missing on Saturday and the company that had organized the outing indicated that all is being done to ensure they are rescued.

“Searches have been conducted in all the trails much of Saturday night and Sunday. Bucketlist Travels and the Kenya Wildlife Service and the Kenya Police Service earlier sent out a search helicopter but the search team was unsuccessful in their efforts,” Bucketlist Travels pointed out in a statement.

It further appealed for calm as all our efforts are out together in finding the hikers.

“Also in consideration for the families of our fellow hikers, we kindly request that we stop speculation until we give a formal report.”
