NAIROBI, Kenya Oct 8 – Jackline Mwende who was allegedly bartered by her husband and even had her limbs chopped off has reason to smile after she was fitted with prosthetic limbs in South Korea.

The operation was fully funded by LG Electronics which had also catered for her treatment at the Kikuyu Hospital before she was flown out of the country.

Pictures of the 27-year-old Mwende smiling while learning to use her prosthetic limbs have been shared from Seoul in South Korea, with reports indicating that she is doing well.

It is understood that the prosthetics that operate under saction rechnology with maximum suspension were fitted on Friday. They are powered by electronic motors that use batteries.
