, NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 18 – A night guard was on Monday night killed by a stray bullet during a shootout between police and gunmen in Mandera.

Police are yet to establish the motive and investigations are trying to establish whether it was terror related or political.

According to police, the area often records increased crime as the country heads to an electioneering period.
