Speaker of the Senate Ekwee Ethuro officiated the New Ford Kenya ceremony.
Several delegates who spoke to Capital FM News urged President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto to ensure all partners are treated equally.
They specifically urged the two leaders to ensure youths are given a chance to join politics.
“It is our time to also become leaders of this country, ” one of the delegates from Mombasa said.
Turkana Senator John Munyes also joined the leaders and announced his resignation as Ford Kenya National Chairman.
“I urge my brother Moses Wetangula to also join us. It is not late to join Jubilee Party. This is the direction we should take our people,”he said.
Lusaka termed the dissolution as a patriotic move while dismissing allegations that they were either influenced or coerced to joining the Jubilee Party.
“It is only a fool who cannot see Jubilee Party is the future. We do this as partner,” he said.
“We’re joining other leaders to develop the country.”
