, NAIROBI, Kenya, Sep 10 — The Jubilee leadership has made it clear that it has no apologies to make for the lengths it’s gone to, to make Saturday’s party launch a memorable affair.

In the run up to the event that will will be held at the Kasarani Stadium, it was difficult not to notice the vehicles that literally painted the town read with Jubilee Party branding.

KANU has since sought to reclaim ‘its’ colours and a businessman moved to court on Thursday in an effort to stop the party from using the ‘Tuko Pamoja’ slogan claiming it as his trademark.

The legal tussles aside, the spectacle that is the Jubilee Party launch led the leaders in the opposition to question who fitted the bill for the branding exercise.

The Jubilee leadership’s response was to question what business it was of theirs while in the same breath crediting ‘well-wishers’ for the ‘show of might.’

The Orange Democratic Movement has in turn organised an ‘extravaganza’ of its own to mark 10 years of existence.

“There shall be a celebratory procession on Mama Ngina drive where international award-winning music artist Diamond will jet in from the US to entertain guests in what is billed to be an evening to remember,” Suna East MP and ODM Director of Elections and Campaigns Junet Mohamed billed.

The Police have assured of security at both events.
