NAIROBI, Kenya Sep 2 – Former Cabinet Minister William Ole Ntimama is dead.
Ntimama aged 86 died at his rural home in Narok on Thursday night, according to police quoting the family.
He is reported to have died peacefully in his sleep.
“It is true we can confirm that Ole Ntimama is dead,” a senior police officer told Capital FM News from Narok, “We were called to the home by the family and the reports we have is that he died from natural causes.”
Police said the body was transported to the Lee Funeral Home, Nairobi on Friday morning.
As a former Narok North Member of Parliament, Ntimama was an influential Maasai leader who was widely respected—having been in government and politics for long.
