Focus on your coalition and leave my Jubilee alone, Uhuru tells Raila

It all began when Leader of Majority in the National Assembly Aden Duale stated that the report needs to be debated by the House before its implementation.

“I want to tell you that the report is now within the House and it has to be debated before it is implemented,” he said.

This elicited a jab from Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka who insisted that the process needs to be fast tracked as it was long overdue.

“The TJRC report had very good recommendations and should have been implemented a long time ago. I want to tell my friend Aden Duale that the process needs to be speeded up,” he said.

His sentiments were echoed by Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula who further emphasized the need for unity among the Maasai community.

“Ntimama was a very respectful man and his legacy will continue. He stood for truth regardless of the consequences,” he said.

Other leaders who spoke during the ceremony included former Head of State Daniela Arap Moi who described Ntimama as a towering personality who fought tirelessly for the rights of the marginalized person.

“We consulted quite widely on many issues particularly those touching on the welfare of the Maasai community. He put the interests of his people ahead of his own,” he stated.

Former Tanzanian Prime Minister Edward Lowassa and other local leaders also spoke during the event.
