, NAIROBI, Kenya, Aug 31 – Two people were Wednesday morning killed and 26 others injured after a bus they were travelling in rammed into a trailer along Nairobi-Naivasha highway.

According to Traffic Commandant Jacinta Kinyua, the trailer also rammed into another truck in the incident, that happed in Kiambaa area at about 1.30am.

“All the vehicles were travelling in the same direction towards Nairobi, when the accident happened,” she stated.

The injured were rushed to the Kikuyu Hospital with multiple injuries.

In the meantime, at least 18 people, including three children were seriously injured after a bus rolled on Mombasa Road, near Capital Centre Wednesday morning.

According to the St John’s Ambulance, the bus was heading to Mombasa from Nairobi, before it lost control and overturned.

Casualties of the early morning incident were rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital for treatment.

Seven of those injured are in critical condition.
