, MOMBASA, Kenya, Aug 14 – Two armed thugs were shot dead by police on Saturday night in Changamwe area within Mombasa County.

County Commissioner Maalim Mohammed said the two were killed during a major operation by Flying Squad officers.

Detectives believe the two are behind a series of armed robberies in Mombasa.
