Families of the two leaders were to hold private memorials on Friday even as they await answers on what led to the helicopter crash, four years on.

Saitoti was Kenya’s longest serving Vice President during former President Daniel arap Moi’s regime, while Ojodeh is remembered as fierce politician who vigorously defended the police in Parliament.
