, NAIROBI, Kenya, May 19 – President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto are set to begin a three day visit to the North Eastern region on Thursday.

A statement from State House indicated that during the tour, the two will meet leaders in the area, interact with citizens, and review and support the North Eastern development agenda.

President Kenyatta and Ruto will also review the progress of key water projects in the area as well as visit Garissa University College.
