, NAIROBI, Kenya, May 20 – A prison warder impersonating the Inspector General of Police on social media was on Thursday arrested in Kisumu.

The man identified as Bevil Ogeda Ouko who is attached to the Kibos main prison had registered a mobile phone number under the name Joseph K. Boinet.

The suspect is expected to be charged at the Kisumu Law Courts on Friday morning.

It is the second time a person has been arrested FOR impersonating the IG on social media.

The Facebook account has been deactivated.
