NAIROBI, Kenya, May 8- Parts of Nairobi will have reduced water supply after a water pipeline along Outer-Ring Road from Gigiri was washed away at the Nairobi River crossing on Saturday night.
The Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company Corporate Affairs Officer Mbaruku Vyakweli said its technical team are on the ground to ensure the supply line is reinstated within 24 hours.
The affected areas are: Huruma, Kariobangi North and South, Buruburu, Outer Ring , Umoja Phase 1 and 2.
Other areas include Innercore, Tena, Dandora phase 1, the whole of Donholm, Tassia and Nyayo Embakasi (including Embakasi village).
