NAIROBI, Kenya, Apr 14 – President Uhuru Kenyatta Thursday held a meeting with Members of Parliament from Kitui County at State House, Nairobi.
The MPs were led by Senator David Musila and included National Assembly Minority Leader, Francis Nyenze.
The Kitui leaders requested the President to visit their county as soon as his diary can accommodate the tour.
The President and the Kitui MPs also discussed the need to tarmac the Kibwezi-Kitui-Mwingi road.
The meeting was attended by all MPs from Kitui except one who is away in South Africa.
Transport and Infrastructure Cabinet Secretary James Macharia also attended the meeting.
