, NAIROBI, Kenya, Apr 18 – Baringo Woman Representative Grace Kiptui suffered serious injuries after she was involved in a car accident at Loruk in Baringo County.

Baringo County Police Commander Peter Ndung’u told Capital FM News that her car rolled seven times after a tire burst killing the driver on the spot.

Ndung’u says other passengers in the car that included her bodyguard and personal assistant suffered minor injuries.

The incident occurred at 12.30pm on Sunday.

They were taken to a hospital in Nakuru for treatment.

Kiptui was going for a meeting in Kaiti when the accident occurred.
