NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 16 – President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday kicked off a visit to four counties starting with Baringo, where he will commission the Chemususu Dam.

The landmark water project will benefit over 600,000 residents of Eldama Ravine and the surrounding areas.

Thereafter, President Kenyatta will address a roadside meeting in Eldama Ravine Town.

Later, President Kenyatta will drive to Molo in Nakuru County with stopovers to address roadside meetings at Makutano, Kamara and Total Junction.

In the afternoon, the Head of State will launch the rehabilitation works for Molo-Olenguruone (C704) road and address a public rally at Molo Stadium at 12.30pm.

President Kenyatta will later launch the Nakuru three interchanges along A104 road at Nyahururu turnoff-Njoro turnoff and Mau Summit Junction before addressing a roadside meeting at Elburgon.

The President will wind up the day by addressing two more roadside meetings at Njoro and Nakuru towns.

On Thursday, President Kenyatta will launch medical equipment at the Rift Valley General Hospital at 10.30am.

Thereafter, the President will travel to Nyandarua County where he will launch rehabilitation works for the Dundori-Oljoro orok road before proceeding to Laikipia County to commission the Nyahururu Water Project.
