NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 21 – The Director of Criminal Investigations Ndegwa Muhoro was on Monday morning expected to address a news conference following claims by the DPP’s office that he deliberately sent them contradictory files, in a case over the ownership of Tatu City.
Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko was the latest to accuse Muhoro of complicity in the matter, after similar claims by lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi.
Lawyer Abdullahi has questioned the integrity of the investigation and accused Muhoro of personal involvement in meddling with the facts.
DPP Tobiko last week also placed blame on Muhoro over the bungled investigations.
Tobiko wants the matter discussed by a Multi Agency Team that includes the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission involving ownership of the Sh5.3 billion Tatu City land.
