Komen was not required to answer to the murder charge since he had not undergone a mental examination to determine whether he is fit to stand trial.

He will be held at the Njoro Police Station until March 23 when he will take plea.

The MCA and three others were charged with incitement to violence when they appeared before Molo Chief Magistrate Wendy Kagendo. They denied committing the offences and were released on a Sh20,000 bond pending hearing of their case on June 27 to 30.
