NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 24 – A pilot who allegedly assaulted a policewoman in Nyandarua has been charged at the Kinangop Law courts.

Alistair Patrick however denied charges of assault and causing disturbance when he flew Deputy President William Ruto to attend a church service in the area.

He has been remanded until Monday next week when the court will rule on his bail application.

The pilot was arrested in Nairobi on Tuesday and briefly detained at the Kilimani Police Station before being taken to Nyandarua where the crime was committed.

Kwae Island Development Limited which operates helicopter 5Y-DSN says it has already terminated his services following the incident that caused uproar on social media.
