The Tanzanian man is said to have gone berserk after losing Sh30, 000 while gambling at the casino located on the 10th Street.
Nairobi Police chief Japheth Koome said the gambler was armed with a sword which he used to slash the two managers before he was lynched.
“The information we have is that he first attacked a female manager who declined to lend him money to continue gambling and that is when he went out to fetch a sword and slashed her to death,” Koome said, “He then slashed a security manager who tried to intervene and killed him.”
The third security manager is nursing injuries in hospital after the incident that occurred shortly after midnight.
The scuffle caused panic in the casino located on the 10th street, sending patrons and other gamblers running before they gathered courage and subdued him.
Police say he was lynched by a mob.
“By the time our officers arrived, they found him dead,” he said, adding “an investigation has been launched to ascertain more.”
Gambling is lately becoming popular in Nairobi, with almost every key street in the central business district having a casino.
