NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 3 – Former CMC Motors director and businessman Joel Kibe was Wednesday expected in court for causing an accident that killed a guard in Runda early Tuesday morning.

The businessman was arrested and his vehicle detained but he was released on bond alongside the vehicle after it underwent inspection.

Police in Gigiri said they intend to charge the businessman with dangerous driving causing death, and may also prefer other charges depending on the investigation.

Police had said they were investigating if the businessman was drunk at the time of the accident but no official report of the probe has been made public.
