NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 21 – There will be a disruption in the supply of water to the Eastern part of Nairobi from Friday morning to Saturday evening.
The Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company says it is necessary to cut off the water supply in order to connect two pipelines along Outer Ring road.
The affected areas are: Kariobangi North and South, Buru Buru Estate Phase I-V, Umoja Estate I and II, Donholm, Tassia, Nyayo Estate, Industrial Area, Avenue Park I and II, Mathare 4 and Survey along Thika Road.
The Company has assured that, “all efforts will be made to minimise the effects of the supply interruption.” But has advised prudent use of available reserves.
