NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 14 – Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria was Wednesday morning expected to meet with officials from the International Criminal Court, following his admission of procuring witnesses on Kenya’s 2007-8 post-election violence.
The Office of The Prosecutor last month requested to meet Kuria so he can explain allegations that he was involved in procuring witnesses whom he believes were later enlisted by the ICC.
Kuria in his utterances during a series of prayer rallies held for Deputy President William Ruto has confessed that he procured witnesses for the Kriegler Commission, who were later asked to testify at the ICC.
He has also tagged along several politicians including NARC Kenya Chairperson Martha Karua who has so far obtained court orders restraining Kuria from dragging her name into the allegations.
Kuria has asked others involved in procuring witnesses to fix Ruto to tell the truth.
