The prosecutions also argued that he encouraged the perpetrators to continue with the attacks by coordinating them and helping in the deployment of resources meant for the attacks.

However, the current request put forward by the prosecution was not against Ruto but was instead directed at Sang.
Parties in the case are expected to give their views regarding the latest application seeking to amend Sang’s case mid way the trial stage.
The prosecution in its application said it will further explain why it wants Sang’s charges re-characterised almost at the final stages of the prosecutor’s case.
