NAIROBI, Kenya, Aug 10 – Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet has recommended that Pastor James Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism face charges for causing death through dangerous driving.

The recommendation is contained in a report handed over to the Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko Monday morning.

The report was compiled after Boinnet ordered a fresh probe into the accident after public outcry that there was a plot to defeat justice.

Simon Kuria who told police that he was behind the wheel of the Ranger Rover that rammed a saloon car leading to the death of Mercy Njeri will also be charged with giving false information to the police.
