NAIROBI, Kenya, Jul 9 – Five months old Bhakita Tamara who requires urgent heart surgery in India had received contributions of Sh236,500 by Thursday evening.

Her mother Loise Mbuba said she thanked God for the contributions which she says has given her more hope to believe her little girl has chances to go to India for a heart surgery.

“I thank God for each and every person who is standing with us when we need you almost. May God bless you, I am also appealing for your prayers for my Bhakita,” Mbuba said when she called Capital FM News to notify us of the contributions received.

Baby Bhakita has only one valve in her heart a condition that makes the clean and dirty blood (oxygenated and deoxygenatated blood) to mix and results to complications in breathing.

The condition can be rectified if the surgery is done by the time a baby is six months old.

Bhakita will be six months old on July 18.
