Waudo said the officers were attacked and suffered bodily harm when they went to arrest him.
He said his officers were attacked by a group of youths when they went to arrest Ong’ou at his rural home in Awasi, within Muhoroni constituency.
He said charges are being prepared that may include resisting arrest before he is taken to court.
“That charge is being registered and some of those who assaulted the officers have been identified and others have not,” he said.
Ong’ou who has been evading arrest over corruption claims associated with international trips Kisumu County Assembly MCAs made last year later presented himself to Railways police station in the company of his lawyer.
