“In addition, it has come to my attention that certain individuals, mostly political opponents were opening fake accounts and posting hate messages in my name with a view to entrenching a political agenda against me,” he asserted.
Kuria said he made a huge sacrifice by closing his social media accounts but since he was determined to obey the conditions of the agreement.
“Effectively Mr Chairman, I now stand as the only social media exile in the world. Digitally speaking, I am already a prisoner of conscience. That is why I was dumb-founded and utterly shocked with your allegations that I breached the terms of reconciliation. I am certain that you were mis-directed or mis-advised in this case,” he argued.
NCIC on January 16 said it had halted the reconciliation talks with Kuria and said it would go back to court since he had failed to adhere to the conditions of the conciliation process.
