VOI, Kenya, Feb 20 – Police are probing whether a decomposing body lying at the Moi Hospital in Voi is that of ICC witness Meshack Yebei.
The body was found at Man Eaters in the Tsavo National Park.
Police and members of Yebei’s family were at the hospital late on Thursday evening with the family saying they believe 70 percent probability it is Yebei.
Police have taken fingerprints of the body and taken them to Nairobi for identification.
No official statement from authorities has been issued over the recent development.
The International Criminal Court previously said that missing witness disregarded protective measures offered to him.

A body initially believed to be his was retrieved by police at River Yala Bridge on January 5 bearing marks of torture.
However DNA tests established that the body was that of Hussein Yusuf.
