Kenyans commemorate 3000 killed in accidents

NAIROBI, Kenya Jan 18 – Transport Cabinet Secretary Michael Kamau will this morning lead Kenyans in commemorating some 3000 people killed in road accidents last year.

The ceremony at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre and dubbed ‘311’ will culminate in an interdenominational prayer service to be attended by key stakeholders in the public transport sector.

There will be a candle lighting session in the event which will also be attended by family members of the victims.
