NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 4 – Flights bound for the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) were temporarily diverted to the Mombasa International Airport Sunday as authorities worked to clear the runway after a crash-landing.
According to the Kenya Airports Authority (KAA), the plane was en-route from Wajir but the reason for the emergency landing remained unclear.
Through its Twitter account, the KAA stated that no fatalities or casualties resulted from the emergency landing.
