President Kenyatta congratulated First Lady Margaret Kenyatta for her ‘Beyond Zero’ campaign, which has earned local and international recognition.

“Her labour of love demonstrates what needs to be done and what my Government is doing about the most critical needs of the health sector, especially in connection with vulnerable groups,” he said.

On education, the President said the Government was expanding access and improving university and tertiary institutions.

He said by April 2015 all primary schools will be connected to electricity and be ready for computer-based learning.
