NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 20 – The family of the late Homabay Senator Otieno Kajwang is now awaiting results of a post-mortem conducted on the body on Thursday morning.
The autopsy was conducted at the Lee Funeral Home by government and private pathologists in the presence of family representatives.
Several leaders, including Siaya Senator James Orengo were at the Lee Funeral home.
Earlier reports indicate he died of what was described as a cardiac arrest at the Mater Hospital after complaining of chest pains.
His death has shocked the nation, with President Uhuru Kenyatta and CORD leader Raila Odinga leading Kenyans in condoling with his family.
The Head of state warned the public against posting hate messages on social messages following Kajwang’s death after increased offensive messages and speculation on the cause of death.
