Kidero was first called to the podium by former deputy speaker Farah Maalim but he was heckled before he took the microphone.
The Nairobi Governor could be seen telling Maalim to let other leaders speak in his place.
When former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka took to the podium, he made a second attempt to have Kidero speak.
“Let us not fall in the traps of our enemy Jubilee. You know CORD is in charge of Nairobi and it is only fair that Kidero who is here speaks,” Musyoka pleaded.
When Kidero tried to speak he only said: “I welcome you to Nairobi,” before the crowd shouted him down.
The crowd however allowed Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho to address them.
