Citing a World Bank report, Liu said 20 percent of growth in Africa was direct contribution of China.
“We try our best to ensure our African friends reap benefits from our relations,” he said.
Western countries have accused China of not adhering to international principles of a win-win situation in her relationships with African countries.
“Those are accusations we constantly get from the west and we don’t know which principles we have failed to follow because we have always pursued a win-win situation with mutual benefits,” he said, insisting “but we never meddle with Africa’s’ local affairs.
