The camp is targeting people from Kabete, Kiambaa, Kikuyu and Limuru sub-counties.
The medical camp will be held at Wangige Primary School and is intended to screen the community for the communicable and non-communicable diseases among them curative services, HIV and TB services.
Residents will also be screened for chronic coughs, non-communicable diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, arthritis, cancer of the cervix and prostate.
Speaking during the preparations, Kabete sub-county public health officer Charles Koigi said that health was a pillar that the county holds with great regard.
“We will have screening of all the diseases. The curative ones will be handled at the camp although some cases will be referred to specialists,” he said.
The camp will commence at 8am and Governor William Kabogo is expected to participate.
