KAMPALA, Dec 21 – A US military aircraft was shot at in South Sudan Saturday, diplomatic and Ugandan military sources told AFP.
A diplomatic source, who was briefed on the situation, said some US military personnel were injured in the shooting in Bor, the rebel-held capital of Jonglei state.
“The reports were are getting is that it was an American aircraft that was shot at,” Ugandan military spokesman Colonel Paddy Ankunda said.
