Addressing a roadside rally at Maili Nne on the outskirts of Nyahururu town, President Kenyatta said politicking ended with the General Elections last March.
“My Government responsibility is to serve all Kenyans without bias. It is now time for elected leaders to rise above partisan politics and serve the wananchi with all diligence,” the President said.
He called on leaders to stop bickering on petty issues which do not add value to the transformative agenda of Jubilee Government.
He said leaders should work together while encouraging Kenyans to unite and live peacefully instead of championing their narrow selfish agenda.
President Kenyatta thanked the residents of Nyandarua County and Kenyans in general for overwhelmingly voting the Jubilee Coalition in the last general election.
He said the Government will now work together with all leaders in ensuring improved standards of living for all, he added.
Local leaders who included Nyandarua County Governor Mwangi Waithaka pledged to work with the National Government in achieving higher strides of development.
