NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 18 – The row between the Chief Judiciary Registrar Gladys Boss Shollei and the Judicial Service Commission has hit a fresh deadlock after she declined to participate in any further disciplinary proceedings.
Shollei appeared before the JSC this morning and sought an adjournment of the proceedings to allow her to prepare her defence to the myriad of allegations against her but the JSC chaired by Chief Justice Willy Mutunga declined.
Shollei wanted time to probe a trove of emails emanating from the CJ which she says prove that the decision to remove her from office is a foregone conclusion.
