Mombasa, Kenya, Sep 5 – President Uhuru Kenyatta has urged Jubilee Coalition affiliated parties to unite and strengthen it at all levels.

The President asked all party leaders in the Coast region to work together in advancing the policies and delivering the Jubilee Coalition’s pledges to Kenyans.

“We are all members of the Jubilee Coalition and we should not discriminate each other regardless of the party that sponsored us to the Coalition. There is strength in unity,” the President told the party leaders.

He spoke at State House, Mombasa where he the leaders and discussed the Coalition’s development agenda for the region before he left for Nairobi.

The Head of State advised parties to come up with a committee that will form a united front and sell the Coalition’s policies seamlessly in the Coast region.

Said the President: “If we all cooperate and unite in serving Kenyans effectively, even those who did not vote for Jubilee will support us.”

“We are focused and have plans to not only develop the Coast region but whole country,” he emphasized.

The President assured leaders and residents that they will all be involved in Government projects benefiting them, including the Youth and Women Enterprise Development Funds.

He affirmed his commitment to uplifting the lives of ordinary citizens, saying that is why he will not be distracted by those trying to criticize his efforts to improve the country.

“Those criticizing our efforts to improve the country must know that Kenya has changed and people want their leaders to serve them not the other way round,” he said.

The President told the Jubilee leaders to constantly consult and keep the Coalition’s spirit alive at the grassroots level.
