NAIROBI, Kenya, Sep 26 – City blogger Dickson Bogonko Bosire of Jackal News has been missing for the past nine days.

His brother, Elikana Bosire told Capital FM News that they have not seen him since September 18.

Despite efforts by family members to reach him, the controversial blogger’s mobile phone has been going to voice mail.

The family has reported the matter to authorities at the Industrial Area police station.

“I urge him to come out from where he maybe, we are all stressed,” he said amid tears.

“I have asked his friends but they have no information about him. Every time we worry about his whereabouts, I usually check his website, the Jackal News. If it is updated, then I automatically know he is okay but it has not been updated for several days.”

His brother arrived early on Thursday outside the Westgate mall hoping to get information that may help the family find him.

“I have checked the names of those who were in the mall but he is not there,” he stated.

A distressed Bosire junior said: “Our parents are old… they are very worried. Now where is he?” he asked.

He also added, “Even after looking for him in various hospitals where victims of the Westgate attack were taken, I have not found him.”

One cousin who lives with the blogger said police had asked for his photo as they investigate his disappearance.

“He left the house on Wednesday at 2pm and since then I have never seen him. Even a message I wrote in his Facebook page has not been replied,” he said.

The family has pleaded with the public to give information that may help located him.
