BOMET, Kenya, Feb 17 – The Coalition of Reforms and Democracy (CORD) campaign team led by Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Vice president Kalonzo Musyoka continued with a vote hunting mission in the Rift Valley where they called on the electorate to vote for the alliance in next month’s general election.

Odinga was in was in Chepang’ang Catholic Church in Bureti district before heading for a rally in Chepchapas and Chesoen while the Vice President was in Mulot and Longisa before converging in Bomet Town for a joint rally.

Earlier, the Vice President joined faithful for a Sunday Service at Chemaner Africa Gospel Church.

Addressing a mammoth rally in Mulot and Longisa markets, the Vice President who is Odinga’s running mate said the CORD alliance had nationwide support and exuded confidence that they will win the forthcoming election.

“We have over ninety percent support in Coast, Lower Eastern, Nyanza and Western regions,” he added.

Musyoka who was accompanied by Minister for Roads, Franklin Bett described the Prime Minister who spearheaded the constitutional reforms for a long time is the right person to be entrusted with the implementation of the new constitution.

“If I can work with Raila there is no individual who cannot work with him so I urge you to vote for him until we see the real change you have been yearning for,” the Vice President noted.
