NAIROBI, Kenya Jan 17 – Former Nairobi Town Clerk Philip Kisia has now pulled out of the Orange Democratic Movement just as the party kicked off its primary polls.

Kisia was due to announce the party under which he will contest the Nairobi gubernatorial seat later on Thursday.

“I can confirm that I will be on the ballot paper in March 4 elections. The vehicle will be announced today,” Kisia told Capital FM News on Thursday morning.

Sources revealed the move follows night-long meetings with party representatives, although no reason was given for the pull out.

A source close to Kisia’s campaigns said he was likely headed to a party within the CORD coalition.
