S.Korea ends major live fire exercise

, SEOUL, Dec 23 – South Korea\’s military on Thursday ended a major live-fire exercise involving tanks, artillery and fighter planes, a pool report from the scene said.

The drill began at 2:43 pm (0543 GMT) and the report said it ended at 3:24 pm. The exercise was held at Pocheon, 30 kilometres (20 miles) south of the tense land border with North Korea.
