HARARE, Mar 9 – Zimbabwe Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai returned to Harare on Monday after undergoing medical checks in Botswana following a car crash that killed his wife, declaring that he felt fine.
"I’m feeling fine," he told reporters as he left Harare’s international airport on his return from Botswana.
Tsvangirai then headed to his Harare home, where his spokesman James Maridadi said he would be meeting with his children and other relatives to prepare for his wife Susan’s funeral.
"The prime minister is feeling well. As you know he went to Botswana for a second opinion," Maridadi told reporters.
"Most of his children are now here. This is a family funeral. He will meet with his relatives as the day goes on."
