TK s sweater is gone!

NAIROBI, October 28 – Zambia’s Takondwa walked out of the Big Brother Africa house with his sweater seemingly to the delight of African fans who voted with an overwhelming 11 out of 13 majority to send him home.

The 25-year-old rapper became the sixth housemate to be evicted, leaving only six in the race for the $100,000 cash prize.

The eviction show kicked off with a performance by Zimbabwean hip-hop star Buffalo SoulJah, featuring his hit song “Bubble ur Bumme” before viewers were treated to a summary of the week that was, including Mimi’s busy day of post-eviction interviews and her reception back in Ghana, a glimpse of Sheila’s eviction party and a look at what Munya had gotten up to in the Big Brother Finland house!

TK was up for eviction with Angola housemate Ricco (for the umpteenth time). The Angolan got two votes and was let back into the house after a tense wait at the glass house.

KB asked the rapper how he thought the housemates felt about his elimination. “They’re going to be happy,” TK said. “They nominated me five times in a row and they finally got their way!”

“I have no unfinished business – I learned what I needed to learn and I’ll take the experience forward with me and it’ll make me a better person,” he said.

KB asked him if he was going to see Sheila at all. “I’m sure we’ll hook up and do some tracks together,” said a smiling TK. “You know I’m not talking about tracks!” chided KB, but TK played it cool and simply said “I can’t speculate…”

After viewing the nominations, TK declared that he was only surprised that more people didn’t nominate him! “I felt a different vibe in the house – as soon as I became Head of House I became a target,” he said.

Before letting him go, KB demanded his famous jersey for a public auction. TK submitted – but only as long as the money raised goes to charity!

That ended TK’s 64-day stay in the Big Brother Africa house – and he walked the ramp to meet his brother Fleming.

This week, Hazel, Morris and Thami are up for eviction again! It’s a tough call!
