Introducing Kenyan artistes to the world

NAIROBI, October 6 – Capital Group Limited on Monday invited players in Kenya’s entertainment industry into partnership to promote local talent on the international scene.

Through its digital media facility, the Capital Group said it would publicise the latest news on local artistes and trends in the entertainment business for its global audience.

Website Manager Seanice Kacungira said by collaborating with musicians, thespians and entertainment houses, Kenya’s diverse talent was finally set to be professionally marketed on an international platform.

“This is a proposal to not only benefit the artiste whose name and work will be read, seen and heard worldwide, but to raise Kenya’s profile in the arts arena,” she said.

Kacungira explained that publicists will be able to send news on their clients to website@capitalfm.co.ke for posting.

“The digital team here will then be able to vett the information for posting on www.capitalfm.co.ke,” she said.

“We are all very excited about this new development. It is part of our commitment to give back to the industry in which we operate.”

Capital Group Limited launched its worldwide brand www.capitalfm.co.ke  last month.

The five-part website is set to sky rocket Capital’s already rapidly growing online audience of more than 14 million hits monthly.
