It’s all CHOCOLATE Everything at dusitD2 Nairobi this Valentine’s Day!

 

It’s the month of Love which means CHOCOLATE! And because of Love, Chocolate and the love of chocolate, dusitD2 Nairobi have got your back and your sweet tooth!

DusitD2 Nairobi will hold its 2nd Annual Chocolate Festival from 11th to 14th February 2017, to celebrate Valentine’s Day. This year’s festival will feature a chocolate buffet menu, Devarana Spa Chocolate wrap, Valentine’s Day special four course dinner and Valentine’s Day Stay package.

“dusitD2 appreciates the strong connection between chocolates and love and as a hotel, our mission is to bring people together to celebrate love. We endeavor to do this by offering world class cuisines and personalized service to all our guests as we celebrate the month of love in this year’s Chocolate Festival,” says Mr. Michael Metaxas, General Manager at dusitD2 Nairobi.

The dusitD2 Chocolate Festival will not only offers a luxurious and chic Valentine’s Day plan, but also offers world class cuisine and first class service at a competitive promotional rate.

Each night, during the four days, guests will have the opportunity to indulge in a single origin Chocolate buffet menu from Sao Tome, Madagascar, Brazil and Ecuador, with over 40 new and latest chocolate designs prepared by the hotel’s new pastry head Chef, Anis Mouldi. These include warm chocolate fondant, chocolate tablet, pralines, chocolate mandiant, chocolate waffles, chocolate entremets, choux and mousses among others.

“Chocolates are a gift of love loaded with nutrients. Dark Chocolate is particularly a powerful source of antioxidants,” says Mr. Anis Mouldi, Head Pastry Chef at dusitD2 Nairobi.

However key to hotel guests, is the Valentine’s Day night stay package for two that includes bed and breakfast at the hotel’s opulent D’light rooms complete with a bouquet of roses, a bottle of sparkling wine and a selection of home-made chocolates at a competitive price of Kshs. 17,900.

Boasting of bright, natural colours with local artisanal details and a separate lounge that enhance the entire space, dusitD2 D’light rooms provide an ideal intimate romantic couple’s getaway this Valentine’s Day.

In addition, there will be a Valentine’s Day Special four course dinner with chocolate dessert at SOKO restaurant.

Just like last year’s Chocolate Festival, two chocolate paintings (by Patrick Peter Kinuthia) will be auctioned and the proceeds will go to charity under the theme, ‘Chocolates for Good’.

Other activities lined up in the dusitD2 Chocolate Festival include: a Chocolate Wrap at Devarana spa, and a month long Pink Passion body scrub offer featuring dragon fruit and pink rose as the main ingredients, complete with a massage of your choice.

The festival will start at 5pm every day and end at 9pm (11th -13th), but will extend to 11pm on 14th. Tickets can be bought at the hotel’s entrance.
