Rihanna has had a tattoo tribute to Drake.

The ‘Work’ singer – who hasn’t publicly confirmed her romance with the 29-year-old star – has had a camouflage shark etched on her ankle, and the design is said to be a permanent reminder of a date they went on earlier this month.

Sources told TMZ Drake took Rihanna to an aquarium in Toronto last month, and bought her a toy shark as a souvenir, so she decided to have the tattoo as a permanent reminder of the trip.

According to the website, the former ‘Degrassi’ star also got a tattoo.

The ‘We Found Love’ singer’s usual tattoo artist Keith ‘Bang Bang’ McCurdy etched the couple with their new inkings, and has shared a picture of Rihanna’s artwork on Instagram.

He wrote: “Camo shark for my dear friend @badgalriri. Also… I just found out you can zoom on IG- enjoy :).(sic)”

At the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) at Madison Square Garden in New York on Sunday (28.08.16), Drake admitted he had been “in love” with Rihanna for years.

Presenting the ‘S&M’ hitmaker with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, he said of the brunette beauty: “She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old. She’s one of my best friends in the world. All my adult life, I’ve looked up to her, even though she’s younger than me. She’s a living, breathing legend in our industry, ladies and gentleman, the recipient of the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award for 2016, Rihanna.”

And after his confession, it was reported the pair were now happy for people to know they are “fully dating”.

A source said: “They are fully dating.

“No one really knows how long they have been ‘official,’ they just decided to let it become a thing instead of hiding it from everyone. They’re happy.”

At the VMAs afterparty, the pair were reportedly inseparable, and the ‘Hotline Bling’ hitmaker was said not to be able to take his eyes off Rihanna.

The source said: “They walked in together and never left each other’s side all night. He was so attentive to her. His eyes were never off her.

“They were necking a lot. They would hug and he would kiss into her neck.”
