The multi-talented Kenyan singer, songwriter and performer Webi is set to drop his third album on Friday, April 29th 2016.
Entitled Lukundo, which is a word in the Taita dialect, will feature 13 tracks about Love.
Webi’s style of music and his vocal prowess has continued to allure his audience and as a result has carved out a niche for himself in the competitive music industry. Brought up in a musical family, Webi’s entry into Kenya’s music scene was more or less a certainty.
Webi has won several awards like Best Gospel R&B Song in Africa, “The Place” (Acoustic Version) Best Gospel R&B Artist or Group, Live Gospel Performance of the Year at the 2008 edition of The One Gospel awards, for music from the debut album “Outside My Window”. He is also the Trace Airtel music star (Kenya) 2015.
Lukundo’s album launch will be held at The Elephant 3 Kanjata Road, Lavington in Nairobi, Kenya on Friday 29th April 2016 from 7 p.m. The launch will be hosted by the spoken word guru Elsaphan Njora.
